Maintenance Electrician - Manchester City Centre
Temp to Perm
21.00 - 22.00 per hour

Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician on behalf of our client, working across two large government-owned commercial buildings in Manchester City Centre.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability, consistent overtime opportunities, and the chance to join a well-established maintenance team on a prestigious contract.

The Role:
Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
Working across two sites within Manchester City Centre
Ensuring all electrical systems are maintained safely and efficiently
Fault finding, repairs, and general building maintenance duties
Participating in the on-call rota (1 in 6)

On-Call & Overtime:
1 in 6 on-call rota
When on call, engineers will also provide cover for Preston
Minimum 4 hours paid at 1.5x rate when called out
Regular overtime always available

Requirements:
Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3)
Experience within commercial maintenance environments
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
Must be able to pass a government vetting process (2-3 weeks)

Package:
21.00 - 22.00 per hour temp rate
Temp-to-perm opportunity
Permanent salary of circa 40,000
Company van and package included upon permanent offer
Overtime readily available
