Private Sector Housing Team Manager (2)

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Private Sector Housing Team Manager for a Local Authority Client in West London.

In this role you will lead the Private Sector Housing team to deliver enforcement, licensing, and housing standards improvements.

Duties:

• Lead and manage the Private Sector Housing team, ensuring effective delivery of enforcement and licensing services
• Oversee investigations, prosecutions, civil penalties, and rent repayment orders
• Manage team performance, budgets, and service improvement activities
• Work with councillors, partners, and stakeholders to deliver housing standards and regulatory compliance

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

• Significant experience in Private Sector Housing within a local authority setting
• Proven track record of managing housing enforcement, including HMOs and licensing schemes
• Experience leading teams, including performance management and service delivery improvement
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation, enforcement powers, and regulatory processes

What's on offer:

Salary: 68,685.00

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
