The Opportunity

This role is suited to an experienced electrician who is confident working independently and takes ownership of their work.

You will be working across a range of projects including:

• High-end residential installations

• Commercial fit-outs and office environments

• Full electrical installations and upgrades

• Specialist wiring and system integration

• Maintenance, fault finding and reactive works

What Sets This Role Apart

This is not a heavily supervised position.

We are looking for someone who can:

• Work from drawings and specifications without constant guidance

• Plan and manage their own work on site

• Problem-solve effectively and make sound decisions

• Maintain a high standard without supervision

• Communicate professionally with clients and other trades

• Take ownership of quality, timelines, and outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installations in line with drawings, specifications, and BS 7671

• Install containment, cabling and equipment to a high standard

• Gland, terminate and test LV, ELV and data systems

• Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently

• Work safely at height following all health & safety procedures

• Coordinate effectively with other trades and site teams

• Ensure all work is completed on time and to a consistent standard

• Fully qualified and technically competent

• Comfortable working independently on site

• Strong in fault finding and problem solving

• Professional in both attitude and communication

• Motivated and invested in their trade

Essential Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations (or equivalent)

• AM2

• 18th Edition (BS 7671)

• ECS / JIB Card

• Proven experience in commercial and/or high-end residential work

Practical Requirements

• Own tools suitable for installation and fault finding preferred 

• Ability to work independently without reliance on others

• Driving licence and access to transport advantageous

• Willingness to work across multiple sites

• Strong sense of responsibility for own work and output

Working Pattern & Nature of Work

Working hours are generally aligned to site requirements and project demands.

• Typical site hours are around 8:00am – 4:30pm, however this may vary depending on the job

• Some days may start earlier or finish earlier depending on site access and workload

• Due to the nature of our work, daily locations and plans may change at short notice in response to client requirements

This role suits someone who is adaptable, organised, and able to manage their time effectively across varying sites.

• Experience running jobs or leading small teams

• Experience working on high-spec or client-facing projects
