Estimator – Structural Steel

Recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a leading UK structural steelwork specialist with over 75 years of industry expertise, delivering projects across the UK and Europe. Opportunity to work within a highly skilled and dynamic team delivering everything from simple building frames to complex structural steel projects.
Role Purpose
• Manage the enquiry and tender process from initial receipt through to submission.
• Identify commercially viable schemes and support business growth.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while developing new business opportunities.
• Ensure smooth coordination of the estimating and tender process across all departments.
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Work collaboratively with clients, engineers, and internal teams.
Requirements
• Relevant technical or engineering qualification desirable.
• Previous experience in structural steel estimating advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to interpret drawings and manage varied workloads under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

• Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
