Job Description
An excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor has arisen to join an multi-award-winning leading specialist in civil engineering and construction services, delivering complex infrastructure and utility projects across the energy sector.
Based out of our clients office in Barnsley with site travel as required.
As a Quantity Survey you will be responsible for
- Procurement and tendering including drafting subcontracts and managing procurement schedules.
- Cost forecasting, margin improvement, and risk/opportunity registers
- Commercial management – Preparing cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and contract administration
- Handling valuations, payment applications and final accounts.
Quantity Surveyor specification
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor working in a construction or civil engineering setting on utility, civil infrastructure or, energy projects.
- Ideally degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar or a minimum HNC in Commercial / Quantity Surveying.
- An understanding of NEC contracts
Salary
A competitive salary of around £40,000 - £54,000 dependant on experience is on offer plus package including
