Description
- Supervise logistics operations to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Oversee the coordination of shipments, ensuring on-time delivery to clients.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory control.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any logistical issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise logistics processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance metrics.
- Support team development by providing training and guidance where needed
Profile
A successful Planning & Logistics Supervisor should have:
- Experience in import/export and logistics environments.
- Strong cross collaboration skills with the ability to manage and support multiple departments.
- Previous experience within transport, 3PL and fleet operations.
- Proven knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software.
- A strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from 40,000 to 45,000.
- Fixed-term contract of 40 hours per week until March 2027.
- 23 days holiday + bank
