We are a growing residential contractor delivering high-quality refurbishment, extension, and basement extension/conversion projects across London. Our projects range from bespoke refurbishments to complex structural and design-led residential works.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of residential construction projects across London. The role will involve managing up to two active sites at the same time while ensuring works are progressing safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
· Managing the day-to-day operations on up to two residential construction sites
· Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
· Monitoring quality of works and identifying issues early
· Ensuring works are progressing in line with programme requirements
· Reporting progress, issues, and site updates to the Project Manager
· Preparing clear and organised site reports
· Managing site health and safety requirements
· Ensuring materials and deliveries are coordinated efficiently
· Proactively identifying delays, clashes, or operational risks
· Maintaining strong communication with subcontractors, consultants, and the project team
· Supporting snagging, quality control, and project completion processes
What We Are Looking For:
· 3–4 years’ experience within residential construction projects
· Previous experience managing residential refurbishment and extension projects
· Strong communication and coordination skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain site organisation
· Ability to prepare clear reports and communicate project updates effectively
· Strong attention to detail and quality control
· Ability to identify and resolve site issues proactively
· Good understanding of residential construction sequencing
· Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
· Ability to work independently and take ownership of site operations
