Planning Lawyer – 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract

An international law firm is seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer to join its team on a 6 month fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of planning and development matters, supporting high-profile projects and working closely with colleagues across the real estate and infrastructure practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on planning, highways and compulsory purchase matters
• Supporting major development and infrastructure projects
• Drafting and negotiating planning agreements and related documentation
• Managing transactions with minimal supervision
• Providing clear, commercial and pragmatic legal advice to clients

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with strong planning law experience
• Experience gained at a recognised law firm or in-house legal team
• Strong technical drafting and advisory skills
• Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Immediate or short-notice availability preferred
