Here at Manton Wood, we have a team of around 1,700 colleagues. We produce sandwiches and wraps for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Co-op, Asda, Morrisons, Boots, Aldi and Lidl.
Our Manton Wood site has a gym, restaurant with hot food and a staff shop available to all our colleagues.

What You'll Be Doing

As one of our Facilities Engineers, you will be part of a team of 4 engineers reporting to the Facilities Managers. You will be required to carry out day-to-day service tasks to ensure to site can operate safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Completing planned and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to maximise equipment reliability and performance - this will include working on steam boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration, and effluent plants
• Carrying our fault finding to establish root causes and identify and implement fixes to address issues
• Complying with all health and safety standards, safe systems of work, and standard operating procedures in addition to legislative and compliance standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely

This is a 4 on 4 off days position.

As one of our facilities engineers, you will be a multiskilled or mechanically biased apprentice-trained engineer with additional electrical qualifications.
You will also ideally have:

• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with problem solving and root cause identification, supported by the delivery of sustainable solutions
• BOAS accreditation
