Our client, a well-established specialist within the passive fire protection industry, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects within the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for passive fire protection works
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents
  • Conducting site visits to assess requirements and gather project details
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate pricing and project planning
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Assisting with bid preparation and contract negotiations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Estimator within the passive fire protection industry
  • Strong understanding of fire-stopping, fire doors, intumescent coatings, and compartmentation
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams
