Salary: Up to £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Pension + Medical

The Opportunity

A leading construction and development business is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team. The role will involve delivering a diverse portfolio of projects, including complex refurbishment works across hotels and commercial office spaces, alongside mission-critical projects within the data centre sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional who enjoys working on technically challenging, high-value schemes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management across multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account
• Manage cost planning, procurement, and contract administration
• Provide accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
• Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team
• Collaborate closely with project and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes

About You

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction or engineering
• Strong background in refurbishment projects (hotels, commercial offices)
• Experience in or exposure to data centres / mission-critical environments is desirable
• Strong understanding of standard forms of contract (e.g. JCT, NEC)
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
