The Maintenance Planning Engineer (Electrical) will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities and projects to ensure optimal equipment performance within an industrial and manufacturing environment. Description
- Plan and schedule maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption to production.
- Manage large scale breakdowns and orchestrate remedial actions
- Manage contractors and schedules
- Conduct Risk assessments
- Coordinate with the engineering team to prioritise and allocate resources effectively.
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and associated costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors for specialised maintenance requirements.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Planning Engineer (Electrical) should have:
- A relevant qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience in maintenance planning within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance processes.
- Proficiency in using maintenance planning software and tools.
