Quantity Surveyor - £35k - £50k + package

Our client is a Leeds based local contractor who specialise in delivering new build, refurb and fit out projects up to £2m.

They have a diverse work stream, operating across sectors such as education, healthcare and commercial

The Role:

• They are looking to add to their Commercial team due to continuous growth and recent work wins
• Specifically, they would like to recruit a Quantity Surveyor / Intermediate QS to assist in the financial running of projects across Yorkshire

Key responsibilities will include the following;

• Undertake commercial and contractual requirements on the designated projects in accordance with the company procedures and processes, ensuring sound financial performance including profitability, cashflow, and managing risks and opportunities
• Preparation of accurate and detailed monthly cost reports for review with the Commercial Manager.
• Preparing and agreeing Monthly Valuations, including valuing variations and forecast final accounts.
• Appointment of Subcontractors in accordance with Company Procedures, including valuations, payment notices and agreement of final accounts.
• To work closely with Contracts Management to ensure all required site records and correspondence are completed in accordance with the specific Contract requirements and Company Procedures.
• Maintain close working relationship with the client to assist in the success of the project.
• Liaise with Contracts Management to review and monitor project costs whilst achieving high standards of quality and health and safety.

You:

• To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum of 3 years working with a Quantity Surveying position
• We'd also like to speak with experienced Assistant or Intermediate Surveyors as we can recruit at multiple levels for this project.
• You will be based in or be able to commute Leeds
• You will be IT literate and contractually aware.
