Senior Architect
Location: Cardiff
Salary: 40,000 - 48,000
An established architectural practice is seeking a Senior Architect with strong post-qualification experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architect to take ownership of projects across a diverse portfolio, leading schemes from concept through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in design development, project coordination, and client management, while working closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Leading projects through all RIBA stages from concept design to completion
Developing creative, practical, and technically robust design solutions
Managing project programmes, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery
Coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Preparing and reviewing design proposals, planning applications, and technical information
Leading project meetings and presenting designs to clients and planning authorities
Mentoring and supporting junior Architects and Architectural Assistants within the studio
Ensuring projects comply with current Building Regulations, planning requirements, and industry standards
Key Requirements:
ARB-registered Architect with significant post-qualification experience within a UK practice
Proven experience leading projects and managing multidisciplinary teams
Strong design, technical, and project management skills
Proficiency in Revit and experience producing high-quality design and technical information
Comprehensive understanding of UK Building Regulations, planning policy, and construction methods
Experience delivering projects through all RIBA work stages
Excellent communication, organisational, and client-facing skills
A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
Previous experience mentoring or managing junior team members would be advantageous
